Getting press interested in an article on an exhibition is always helpful for any exhibition and I am pleased to acknowledge the Manly Daily’s article on my exhibition.
Of particular note is the image used for the online article, which is different to the image Storm over Curly they used in the newspaper print edition.

The image that is attracting the most comments in the exhibition is; Under the umbrella, Manly Beach, closely followed by Campfire Winton and Bluff Rock. I have been asked a few times, “What is your favourite image?”
Under the umbrella, Manly Beach and Campfire Winton are both favourites for different reasons. The Bullo River mustering set are two images that have become classics as I am sure Under the umbrella will become. Another shot, Boat in the bush is proving to be popular, too.
When I curated the exhibition, From the Beach to Bourke, and Beyond, I initially left Under the umbrella out of the original selection. It was only after several people commented on the need for it to be included in the show that I decided to add it, but at the very last moment. So last moment was the decision it was not hanging on the walls at the opening.
