About the image.
Uluru, 1988
In the days before Ulururules (the rules that govern photographing everything) you could walk around Uluru and take photographs to your hearts content. It was way back then that I took this image.
I travelled to the rock many times, I stopped counting after 30 trips. Never did I see the light like this either before or after this was captured.
